The ensemble
Layla gathers her newfound friends, Jack, Tom, and Mia, and together they set off on an exciting adventure to tell the world about Jesus.
Lead roles
Layla
A Born Again Christian, she is a bold, joyful, and confident young woman. Layla believes deeply in living the good life that God has ordained for her, and carries that faith wherever she goes.
Fearless and full of purpose, Layla never backs down from a challenge. She loves meeting new people, starting conversations and sharing the Message of Jesus with excitement and sincerity. To her, Christianity isn’t just something she believes, it is the extraordinary life she lives every day.
With her warm personality, strong faith, and adventurous spirit, Layla inspires those around her to discover the amazing life God has made available to them.
Mia
Mia has known Layla for some time and even works with her in Layla’s coffee shop. She has always been familiar with the Christian life, but often struggled to understand how to face life’s realities, pressures, and confusion according to the world.
Through Layla’s friendship, Mia discovered a whole new chapter of truth, joy, and confidence. Layla taught her about the new creation realities, helping her understand who she is in Christ and how to live from a place of victory, instead of fear.
Now, Mia is growing stronger in her faith and discovering that life with Jesus is full of purpose, excitement and beautiful surprises. With Layla, no day is ever ordinary. Together, they go out to meet new people, share the love of Jesus and help others discover the amazing life God has made possible.
Mia’s life journey sees her growing in ways she never imagined, discovering who she really is, and boldly stepping into the truth of that reality.
Tom
Tom is Jack’s friend and fellow desk jockey. However, Tom has a much brighter and more optimistic outlook on life. Where Jack was serious and stuck in routine, Tom always carried a little spark of hope, humor, and positivity, even in the middle of ordinary office life.
After having met Layla, Tom’s life changed, and he soon became part of her adventurous crew. Now, he and Jack are inseparable, stepping into this new life together and discovering what it truly means to walk with Christ.
Tom has a quirky personality, a cheerful heart, and he sees the good in almost every situation. His positive outlook helps him tremendously as he grows in faith, learning more about God’s Word and it encourages others he meets along the way.
With his joyful spirit and slightly unusual perspective of the world, Tom brings laughter, light, and encouragement wherever the adventure takes him.
Jack
Jack was once a very serious desk jockey, stuck in a rut and the routine of everyday life. In a busy workplace where everyone seemed to blend together in the background, he felt like just another number, unseen, unnoticed and simply going through the motions.
Then, he met Layla and everything changed.
Through Layla’s bold faith and joyful outlook on life, Jack discovered a brand-new life and a life of purpose, hope, and excitement. Now, he is part of Layla’s crew and happily joins her on every adventure.
As Jack grows in his understanding of this new life in Christ, he begins to recognize people who are facing the same struggles he once did. With a helping heart, kindness, and confidence, Jack reaches out showing them that they don’t have to stay, stuck where they are.
Jack’s journey is one of transformation, from an ordinary routine to extraordinary purpose.

Joseph
Joseph, better known around the mall as Janitor Joe, is a hardworking Janitor with a heart full of music and dreams far bigger than his mop bucket. Faithfully going about the daily grind, he secretly hopes that one day someone will discover his voice and give him the opportunity to become a star.
Joseph works tirelessly to chase his dream, attending auditions and putting himself out there again and again. But every rejection chips away at his confidence, leaving him wondering if he is really as talented, valuable, and special as he had once hoped.
Then, he crosses paths with Tom and Jack.
Through their kindness, encouragement, and faith, they help Joseph to see that his worth is not determined by applause, auditions, or others’ opinions. He begins to discover that he is already valuable, already seen, and already loved by God.
Joseph’s journey to stardom is one of perseverance, identity and learning that true greatness begins with knowing who you are in Christ.
Mateo
Mateo was born in South Africa and adopted as a young boy by a Spanish couple who raised him in Spain. Though he grew up surrounded by love and culture, deep inside, he always carried questions about where he came from, and why his story began the way it did.
Now that he is older, Mateo sets out on an adventure to South Africa, hoping to discover the truth about his past, find his biological parents and understand the meaning of life. Behind his charm and adventurous spirit is a young man wrestling with feelings of abandonment, identity, and belonging.
Then, in a moment when he feels completely lost, Mateo crosses paths with Layla.
Will he uncover the truth about his family? Will he find the answers he has been searching for? Or will he discover that the true meaning of life is found in something far greater than he’d ever imagined?
Mateo’s journey takes him to places of discovery into his true identity, discovering where he genuinely belongs and finding healing along the way.
Jenny
Jenny is glamorous, confident, and used to getting exactly what she wants. Living off a trust fund from her father, she has never really known what it feels like to be told, “No”. Her world is one of luxury, attention, and comfort, and she believes life will always sparkle on command.
But what happens when the glitter begins to crack?
When Jenny suddenly faces the possibility of her seemingly endless stream of money running dry, her perfect world begins to shake. For the first time, she has to face life without the safety of wealth, status, and everything she once knew and depended on.
Beneath the designer image is a young woman who must discover that true value is not found in money, possessions, or popularity, but in something far greater. Follow Jenny’s journey as she discovers her true identity, learning where real security comes from.
Belle
Belle is a Beautician working at the beauty store in the mall. She is friendly, hardworking, and always surrounded by sparkle, skincare, and shelves of perfectly arranged products and scents. But, deep down Belle feels bored with life.
Every day feels the same. Same shop. Same routine. Same conversations. So, Belle keeps herself going by dreaming of her upcoming trip of a lifetime, her Bali vacay, that she has been saving for many months. To her, Bali is not just a holiday, it is her escape, her reward, and her chance to finally feel alive again.
Then, financial disaster strikes, and Belle’s dream suddenly begins to crumble.
Just when she feels disappointed, frustrated, and unsure of what to do next, she crosses paths with Tom and Jack. Will they be able to help her see beyond her circumstances? And will Belle discover that true joy is not found in an escape from life, but in a brand-new way of living it?
Belle’s journey of hope, contentment, and finding beauty beyond the surface is inspiring!
Tiffany
Tiffany, the Mall Cop that everyone notices coming before she even arrives. Serious, strict, and always on patrol, she runs the mall with the intensity of someone guarding a national treasure, even if the biggest emergency is usually a smoothie all over the floor or someone walking too slowly near the escalator.
But, behind her no-nonsense attitude is a very big dream. In Tiffany’s mind, mall security is only the beginning. One day, she plans to become an MI6 Secret Agent, solving mysteries, chasing villains, and saving the world in dramatic slow motion.
Until then, she handles every mall situation with maximum seriousness and very little room for fun.
When Tiffany crosses paths with Layla, Mia, Tom and Jack, her perfectly controlled world begins to wobble. Through their joy, kindness, and faith, she soon discovers that life need not always be so tense. Sometimes, it is okay to laugh, to trust, and to relax and enjoy the adventure.
Tiffany’s journey leads her to let go, find joy, and learn that strength is not only found in being serious, but also in knowing that, in Christ, you are a success.
